| I have known of Sierra Concrete Design (SCD)
for years because of their reputation for quality,
and their broad range of fireplace designs to
complement every architectural style. When it
came time to develop the interior design plans
for a million-dollar production home project in
Irvine, California, I knew SCD was the company
to rely on for personalized service and custom
design with the highest of standards for this
project. Together, SCD and I co-designed a unique
fireplace that would depict the Old World Provence
décor I envisioned.
Starting with a simple photograph, SCD’s
people produced shop drawings, which were cooperatively
reviewed until final approval. Minor changes
were made throughout the product development
process, from the product designs to the final
moldings. The finished products exceeded our
expectations and enhanced the lavish décor
of the home. Fortunately, another new project
in Irvine came up and Sierra Concrete Design
again took on the collaborative challenge, to
develop new designs that were done in an impressive
short period of time. These distinctive Tuscan
style fireplaces have created a lasting impression
with the many perspective buyers visiting our
models.
